Complaint Policy

Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers,

Thank you for choosing to engage with us at Iraqi Journal of Industrial Research (IJOIR). Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have any complaint or wish to file an appeal, we encourage you to reach out to us promptly.

Concerns regarding published papers should initially be addressed by reaching out to the corresponding author for direct requests. If authors are unresponsive, readers may contact the Editorial Office. The Editorial Office will oversee the investigation, involving complainants to resolve any issues.

Any complaints, comments, or requests for updates concerning scholarly validity, ethics, or legal aspects of the paper or its review process will be thoroughly investigated. The Editorial Office, supported by the Editorial Manager and ultimately approved by the Editor-in-Chief, ensures adherence to publication ethics principles, possibly consulting the publisher authorities or field experts, and seeking legal advice when necessary.

Personal opinions or criticisms will not be entertained, and all complaints, even anonymous ones, are investigated. Complainants may request confidentiality, which will be respected within reasonable bounds. Decisions resulting from investigations, such as corrections or retractions, are made strictly by Editors-in-Chief or Editorial manager and communicated to authors.

Unsubstantiated complaints may not prompt further communication unless additional evidence is provided. Complainants may not receive ongoing updates until a final decision is made but will be notified of any published updates. The Editorial Office are not obliged to provide extensive details, and communication will cease if it becomes discourteous.

Contact Information and Timely Response:

When contacting the Editorial Office at info@ijoir.gov.iq, please include details of the paper, the nature of the complaint, any prior correspondence with authors, and any conflicts of interest. Investigations require time, and readers should be patient in awaiting results.

Best Regards,

Prof. Dr. Khalid B. Najim

Editor-in-Chief
